I just lost my job, along with most of my coworkers, due to the illegal grant freeze.
I worked at an organization that
-helped veterans who have lost a limb
-Assisted elderly and disabled people
-Helped hospitals better treat people who have lost limbs

I posted the last version of this too hastily. I wasn't satisfied with the art so I added more yeast. Now I think I'm done with it.

Not only is helping Ukraine positive for the US economy as a whole, it individually helps a bunch of red states.

So naturally, the GOP hates it.

We should talk more about how abnormal it is for a special counsel's office to be shuttered by a change in administrations. Hunter Biden's SC stayed in place as did others. Jack Smith has to discontinue Trump's cases while he's in office but he has other defendants. Trump breaks norms & it's ignored

Based on recent scuttlebutt, it appears the Trump Crime Syndicate isn't confident they can suppress the Matt Gaetz Ethics report.

They're now focused on pressuring the Senate to ignore it and confirm him anyway.

So Trump’s Border Czar nominee wrote the section on the border for Project 2025’s manifesto and Trump’s FCC nominee wrote the section on the FCC for Project 2025. But Trump had no connection to it and doesn’t know anything about it.

Truth be told, it does seem kind of silly to have the FBI do background checks on presidential appointees when the president is a convicted criminal and an adjudicated digital rapist.

For a guy that supposedly knew nothing about Project 2025, he sure is putting a metric shit ton of them in his administration.

There is no Democratic margin of victory so great that the press will declare it a mandate and there is no Republican victory so narrow that they won't.

Just absorbing the fact that the first order of business in the new QAnon-inflected MAGA Republican era is to demand that Congress bury its report on sex trafficking and drug allegations against a Republican member of Congress who they're trying to promote to higher office.

Back in my day, we didn’t call them ‘echo chambers’. We called them ‘not hanging out with assholes.’

Indeed. When they rounded up the Japanese Americans, myself and my family included, for internment during WWII out of fear over Japanese spies and saboteurs, two thirds of us were U.S. citizens.

Don’t think it won’t happen again when they come for the “undocumented.”

Kind of wonder how long it will take for the Infowars audience to tell the difference between parody and Alex Jones.

The Onion Buys Alex Jones’s Infowars Out of Bankruptcy
The satirical news site planned to turn Infowars into a parody of itself, mocking “weird internet personalities” who peddle conspiracy theories and health supplements.

“The Senate won’t confirm them” is not even a wishful thinking response, it’s one that ignores what’s happening:

Trump announced in advance of these picks that he expects the Senate to shut itself down so he can make recess appointments — which means no confirmation process at all.
