Is it a #picturebook? If so, check out Anne Whitford Paul’s book “Creating Picture Books”! Bigger investment: join @12x12challenge.bsky.social - or watch the monthly book chats! If not a PB, look into SCBWI! There are tons of resources!

It definitely is!! But the kidlit community is awesome and supportive. (Are you in 12 x 12 by any chance?)

You might want to query the “strongest” or most marketable MS (critique partners or paid critiques can help rank them). That said, most PB agents want to rep an author, not just a project, so if one likes the MS you query, they’ll prob ask to see your other polished MSS before offering rep!

Usually by hand - BUT sometimes if an idea strikes and I’m already at a computer, I’ll open a new Word doc or email to myself and get typing!!
