Trump tried to break the Twin Cities but we stood strong, and now *they* are backing down. Makes me feel proud to live here.

I've been sent video from the end of the ICE raid at the Zipps on 32nd and Shea.

It shows protesters -- on the sidewalk, impeding no one -- getting drive-by maced by an ICE agent from a truck as it rolls away down the road.

Hard to see how such tactics are justifiable.

NEW: Minnesota's top federal judge says ICE has been violating court orders repeatedly — detaining noncitizens or rushing them to Texas despite judges' commands.

He wants ICE's director to answer for it "personally," and could level contempt sanctions.

And, tonight, the network's flagship news program -- 60 Minutes -- ran a clip show of old celeb interviews to "celebrate the movies" rather than put together an episode focused on what's going on in Minnesota.
The person who publishes the Free Press — where the words “Minneapolis” and “Minnesota” never appear tonight — also runs CBS News.

Great time to follow local news
As Minneapolis reels from the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti, some Republicans are starting to distance themselves from the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown in Minnesota.
‘It needs to end.’ Some Republicans break from Trump on immigration surge after Minneapolis shooting
It’s a sign some in the GOP view the current crackdown as a political problem, especially in the suburbs.
