I sort of figured they were turned off after enough turns without them cruising through. They can be a weird difficulty spike if they target you early.

I love this game, it was fun to hang out and watch!

With enough tractor beams and troop pods you can capture an _Antarean_ ship to scrap it. They've got the best hull/fuel cells/etc. and it'll make your ships untouchable.

They really resist it, they'll self destruct without a quick capture.
