Val’s a decent roommate. Tidy, pays rent on time, not too fussy. But food can be a contentious topic for a pred. Finding a voredash order with a dozen raccoons seemed like quite a treat, a full meal! Her roommate didn't have time to explain…

Based on a true story, on a road trip in my youth I stopped by a fast food restaurant (Krystal) and picked a combo meal that seemed reasonable. After consuming it, on my way out the door, a thought finally clicked into place. While the amount of food was reasonable for me, coming with two medium drinks and two medium fries signaled it was intended for two people to eat.

Val was hungry for lunch and the only prey around was a large cow. Determined to get a squirming meal, she had to convince Lilac she was a capable predator. Hitting a snag when her chin hit the bar, she pleaded with her prey to help.

First she got a taste of his paw, then his wrist and forearm. After convincing him she’s a capable predator, and stirring some other feelings, it didn’t take her too long to prove just which end of the plate bears belong on. That's a neat trick... ..I.. seem to be stuck..." as he can't pull his arm away from the eager predator.
