Excuse me???? How do I put it to you plainly that not every person can have the time off work, energy, mental capacity to champion every cause/every minority group that is persecuted but seeing a man unable to breathe because of cop cruelty is a pretty DMN GOOD REASON to protest.....

and I'm seeing a lot more of my liberal friends say "the democrats are losers who are *at best* not up for this fight and all need to be primaried" which is good, but I'm seeing less contrition about it than I'd hope

Definitely one of my least favorite trends in certain leftist spaces is the the one where every bad thing is the worst possible version of Thing and if you push back on that, it can only be because you think Thing is actually fine or you are too privileged to understand that this is The Worst Thing.
