my folkmore dress ranking - the top 3 were so easy for me (that green dress is iconic!!!!!) but the rest of the rankings were so hard because I love a lot of them in different ways. I already miss the beauty of the folkmore sets so much 🥲

thursday, yesterday, and today were all super snowy here and it was really the first ~significant~ snow this year in Michigan. we got somewhere between 3 and 5 inches every day! it's scary to drive in, but on the days I happen to not be going anywhere, I just admire how beautiful it is.

after a week of the flu, today was finally a good day and I actually had energy!!! I tried a new board game with Ryan, helped him look for a new car, started planning a trip to the Pacific coast, cleaned & cooked, got quality kitty time, and finished off the night with stardew & strawberry nesquik 🥰

I'm doing my first full playthrough of stardew valley & I ended up leveling up to dating shane, and he asks for a 1st date to a 'gridball'game where there's a first kiss cutscene. IRL Ryan & I had our first date at a baseball game & shared our first kiss there 🥹🥹 (Ryan took this pic of me that day)

it is still INSANE to me that we live in a world where there were enough votes for a 2nd trump presidency. my brain likens it to the level of sanity of the NFT craze. I will never wrap my head around the fact that we live in an existence where either of those things is or was viewed as reasonable

I got general anesthesia for the first time ever today for an endoscopy. I found out I have a hernia & that part sucks, but the cool part is I had the most lovely people to care for me in recovery & I got a "fall risk" wristband which I feel like i should be allowed to wear 24/7 as a clumsy person

Cosmo had his first checkup at his new vet today and we found out he has grown to double the size he was when he first came home with us in november 🥺 my sweet baby needs to stop growing up so fast!!!! this somehow happened right before my eyes

It's not even teacher appreciation week or anything but 2 of my students just brought these notes up to me unprompted after class today. we don't usually get individually recognized at work (it's usually a general "thank you teachers") and these kids have no idea how much this keeps me going 🥹
