NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

We need to use ‘innocent until proven guilty’ instead of ‘due process’. The phrase is more familiar, so people will understand it better. ‘Due process’ doesn’t remind people of what we stand for as much as innocent until proven guilty. Also, use ‘invade Greenland’, not ‘take’. Words matter greatly.

Our American weakness is that we take things for granted.
We think our happy ending is guaranteed. This has made civically lazy, and here we are. We have to wake up from thinking we are entitled to an automatic happy ending. Movies are not real, folks. We need to profoundly understand this.
