I hold my face between my hands
no I am not crying

I hold my face between my hands
to keep my loneliness warm
two hands protecting
two hands nourishing
two hands to prevent

my soul from leaving me
in anger

Too much seems like the prelude to pursuing conflicts worse than trade wars. Just for the distraction.

Lots of backlash for phrasing. Maybe something like "... a draft proposal for how users can express their data-use rights and preferences for privacy, reproduction, and storage; including for research, archiving, and other automation".

ML is old tech; content theft is what needs the "No" option
We put up a proposal that lays out a way for users to declare whether/how they want their data to be used by things like generative AI or public archives, check it out on github:

Some pretty stunning answers here from DHS Deputy Secretary Troy Edgar in today's interview with NPR's Michel Martin, in which Edgar equates pro-Palestinian protests with terrorist activity and can't point to any crime committed by Mahmoud Khalil: npr.org/2025/03/13/n...

"fake economy"
Reporter: “So, Mr. President, when you look at the market selling off that didn’t concern you?”

Trump: “Nope! Doesn’t concern me.”

A totally normal thing to do. In the last moments of East Berlin.
@propublica.org reporter Brett Murphy with an explosive scoop. This is insanity.

-> thread. "Is your aid program in service of racism, bigotry, American businesses? Why not?"
Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has sent US-backed aid organisations and nonprofits across South Africa (and the rest of the world) a screening form that's clearly designed to disqualify them from receiving any more funding.

What's so hard to understand? We'll just stop cheap labor, cheap imports, alienate allies, make new enemies, cut off tech and intel sharing, and do everything ourselves, just us. But not you. You're not Us. *You* should be afraid.

It'll be Great. If Great means Alone.

So Great.

Amazing way to prove you're totally aware who the aggressor is, that they're expansionist, and that you're wagering others' sovereignty and security for the sake of purported financial gain.
