New Year's Resolution: Stay Positive About The Knicks rather than dipping back into my deep well of doom. Wish me (and them) luck!

the pessimist in me says - he's gone. Or, at least, they are working on something and he's a part of it. Better be getting a big in return...
Mitchell Robinson will miss his second straight game tomorrow with ankle injury management.

Brown said after the game yesterday nothing new happened and they’ve just played a lot lately.

Saddiq - 25 in the first half. 1 in the second. Knicks win.... mostly because they don't have someone who thinks like Jordan Poole thinks on their team.
Ordinarily, giving up 75 pts in a half means you lose. But Knicks score 72 on the other side of the floor and I actually expect them to win this one, simply because Saddiq is not scoring 50 tonight.

They're all much better than him, but it feels a bit like all three of these guys are on the DLo express right now.
Feels like Trae, Ja, and LaMelo are all in a musical chairs round for the same possibly nonexistent desperate team. The best argument to make for the three is something like "Well Ja is playing bad on purpose."

JB is a marvel in lots of ways - always thinking, always reading, always making the play. Terrific work here by JLE3 to capture that.
Jalen Brunson was kind enough to watch some film with me following the Knicks win Saturday night.

Great insight into how he processes things, his tricks of the trade and more.

I have lived many years and now can say I have seen someone play for the knicks who, when they are down 2 w 90 seconds left, when he takes a little step to the right and launches a 3 three from the right elbow, I think: that's going in. AND IT DOES.

That was a difficult game to watch on an airplane without looking insane, let me tell you.

Mike Breen loves few things more than a Tyler Kolek rebound.

Deviating from my 100% Knicks commentary to say that I am intrigued by Derrick Queen. Is he Eddy Curry? Is he an Eddy Curry who doesn't fall into the physical morass that hampered Eddy Curry? We shall see. But he is currently very good.

Last night he called Fontecchio "Fonticello", like Jefferson's house got a little fountain out front.
Clyde can't even sort of say 'Kneuppel'

We are lucky to have Mike Breen and Clyde as our announcers for lots of reasons, and one: Breen shapes fan discourse. Talks all the time about KAT's defense on nights when he collapses, mentally, on offense. Today, the KAT annoyance on blogs/boards is tempered by comments about how good he is on D.

Never expected this to happen, but TYK (man needs a nickname - this is the best I can do for now) is becoming a playable guy. Not sure if going to a zone when he's out there with Brunson is going to work against guys like Maxey or SGA, but... it's nice to have this depth.
Who is this Tyler Kolek that Jalen Brunson keeps talking about?

He spent every day in college with a basketball and anxiety but now is confidently helping the Knicks win.

"Ball goes in hoop - no running without bouncing ball" is nature's design!
"The NBA Cup is contrived!" As if the NBA was created by Zeus and handed down on golden tablets. The whole thing is fucking made up.

I don't really care one way or another about raising an NBA cup banner but I am TOTALLY HYPED that it is a topic for the fans because it means we won a thing. Bickering about what to do once we beat a bunch of teams? Great! Yes!

Nice to win a thing, I have to say.

Is it just me or are the refs letting KAT just throw Wemby around? I mean... no complaints here, but.
