In the illustration, a dog with a pyramid head is lying in a rocky chamber, in front of a high tech circular door. Pipes and cables connect to the door from somewhere off panel. Panel 2: Skull, narrating: Their brief lives are pieces of my own. In the panel, a spiky turtle thing eats a carrot on a floating platform over a deep rocky shaft, which contains other floating platforms. Panel 3: Back to the scene of the armored figure, Cell, sitting opposite the Skull, which is set into the wall. Cell: That’s really nice. Skull: Yes. Panel 4: Cell rises from the floor. Cell: Well, I should probably go. Skull: as you will. Panel 5: Cell turns as she’s exiting. Cell: Some guys paid me to scope this place out. Probably looters. Can you take care of yourself if they swing by? Panel 6: Close on the Skull. Skull: They would be devoured.

last night after being attacked by one whose face kept shifting between different awful faces i was able to stop it by pointing out that it had no Thirdmaster (????) and i slit its throat but then another demon showed up and got pissy at me for solving the Thirdmaster riddle and implied i cheated
