I left the Democratic Party long ago, after enduring working on the Howard Dean campaign & supporting Bernie. They HATE us. I’ll toss D’s my vote graciously, unearned, but I’m very comfortable now calling myself a Pirate, not a Democrat. This should trouble Dems. @uspirates.bsky.social
Still pondering Klein’s earnest and clueless “where is the line??” question on who should be allowed in the democratic tent. It’s a very simple answer: the line is human rights. Nobody is calling for the expulsion of a moderate democrat who believes in a conservative fiscal policy.
