The Mint reported net sales of 45,843 numismatic products as of December 15, 2025, representing a significant increase from the previous week.

The United States Mint has released the images of the upcoming Emerging Liberty Dime. Set for release next year as part of the United States’ Semiquincentennial, the stunning dime features a new interpretation of Liberty. It is the first change in design of the Dime since the Roosevelt Dime was released on January 30, 1946. The obverse design features a determined Liberty as the winds of revolution waft through her hair.

The American Numismatic Society (ANS) has made available its latest Long Table event on YouTube. The hour-long video discusses fakes and forgeries of Judean coins. The ANS Long Table is a live webinar held each Friday (excluding holidays) for members, who can interact with the speakers during the event. The recording is posted on YouTube the following week. The United States Mint will begin sales of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Silver Medal next week. Sales will begin at the normal time of Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on Monday, July 14th. As with previous Presidential Silver Medal releases, there is no production limit on how many of the one-ounce silver medals will be available, and they will remain available from the Mint for an indefinite period of time.

The Numismatic Crime Information Center (NCIC) is alerting coin dealers, collectors, and the general public to a growing wave of fraudulent advertisements selling counterfeit coins and precious metals through the Google phone app platform. Over the past thirty days, NCIC has been actively monitoring a series of deceptive websites promoted via paid ads appearing on the Google mobile ecosystem. These websites falsely advertise rare coins and precious metals at prices significantly below current market values, luring unsuspecting buyers into fraudulent transactions.

The United States Mint has announced that has created and opened a subscription program for the upcoming Comic Art silver medal program. The program, which is a three-year program, will begin this year with the release of the Superman coin on July 24. The Comic Art program created in partnership with DC Comics, will showcase three characters annually over three years, for a total of nine designs.

NGC will offer on-site grading and encapsulation of US coins at the ANA World's Fair of Money in Oklahoma City, OK from Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22 at 1:00 p.m. (subject to change, check with table staff). Coins will be returned by the end of the day on Saturday, August 23. Coins must be picked up by the end of the show.
