Die Kohlmeise sitzt auf einem Gelege von mittlerweile fünf Eiern. Sie selbst kommt nicht auf die Hand, aber ihr Männchen hat mich erfolgreich dressiert, auf Anfrage immer brav Mehlwürmer rauszuhalten, die es offensichtlich fürsorglich mit ihr teilt.

Das Meisenstövchen ist angeheizt, bietet trotz Frost laukühles Wasser und wird auch gerne genutzt, sofern ich nicht gerade mit der Wärmebildkamera störe.
Zum Nachbauen: Kompositionsöllicht in Pflanzstein aus Beton stellen, feuerfesten Blumentopfuntersatz mit Wasser gefüllt obendrauf, fertig.

Der Sperber hat es geschafft, auf meiner Terrasse einen Specht zu erbeuten. Ob es einer der großen Buntspechte war oder der Mittelspecht, weiß ich noch nicht.
Gefühlt ist ein großer Buntspecht nicht so besonders viel kleiner als der Sperber, aber das täuscht vermutlich.

Seit es nachts empfindlich kühl wird, hat meine Lieblingskohlmeise angefangen, im Nistkasten zu übernachten. Etwa 15 Minuten nach Sonnenuntergang geht sie schlafen und wacht ähnlich lange vor Sonnenaufgang wieder auf.
