prepping the pilot for immersion. Concept sketch/messing around with ideas for the comic I’m working on
a sketch of a mech pilot being prepped for a sortie. The pilot—Maris Keigh, that’s right you’re getting character names in the alt text—is suspended by some mounting points on her suit, which act like a harness. A scientist—no character name. They’re nobody—is standing on some kind of scissor lift that’s coming up out of the ground and they’re fiddling with a display connected to some wires that run to Maris’ forearm. Several more wires and cables are connected to Maris’ back, a large one dangles and coils on the ground below her. In the background, another mechanic—Amira—approaches, holding some equipment and moving some of the dangling cables aside. Maris is glancing over her shoulder towards Amira as if she has heard her approaching.

Levelling in original Diablo 2 was a nightmare. the max level is 99 and the half way point is somewhere in level 98. because of how character, area and monster level work the most efficient grind to 99 gives you 93% less xp than usual.
