I'm watching a TV show just now and this is driving me NUTS so a wee grammar tip: if you want to say you & someone else did something, remove the other person to work out if you use 'me' or 'I'.
e.g.
Me went to the shop ❌

They learned from FL how this scam works. Make insurance unaffordable is step 1, then drop policyholders is step 2, victims have to sell at reduced prices since they can’t afford to rebuild is step 3, developers and hedge funds own more homes and artificially inflate prices is step 4. Repeat.
