Bold outfit for a cool gray day. I kind of doubted this shirt and vest would work together but I tried them anyway because I'm that kind of crazy and IDK but I like it.

Autumn backlighting

I don't know what species of oak this is. Dogwood leaves backlit by the morning sun Green and yellow elm leaves backlit by the morning sun. I'm disappointed that the closest ones are out of focus but I like this photo anyway.

My cats have 3 of these fish and it mildly freaks me out when I step on one. Because they're soft, for just a second it's like, "Oh gross! What the hell did I step on?" It's not so bad if I'm just wearing socks because then I can immediately feel what it is.

Cutting is done. I started preparing the pockets because I want to show you. Interior pockets can be anything. I used to buy white fabric for jeans pockets so they would be like the RTW ones but now I use whatever remnants I have. No one else knows I have kittens in my pockets.

You may remember 2 or 3 weeks ago I was talking about making one last summer dress. Here it is with an LL Bean t-shirt for a cool fall morning. (unseen: black Snag tights) I wore it grocery shopping and got compliments from 5 women. A record!

Coffee Mate creamer peppermint toad flavor. It's supposed to taste like white chocolate peppermint but it actually tastes like neither. I don't know what toad tastes like but I'm guessing it's something like this creamer

We're "babysitting" Harley today while her people are at work and school. She got spayed yesterday and I'm supposed to keep her from running and jumping. So far she just wants to hide out on the stairs.
