I play Genshin Impact on twitch a couple times a week; sometimes knit, sew, or garden; graduated from comic book school but dropped out of the biz (don’t go to art school, art school is a scam); recently diagnosed ADHD so talk about that a lot.

Pour one out for the last twenty rows of knitting I just finished, because my row gauge deviated too much from the pattern which means I have to redo it all so the sleeve underarms don’t start at my navel

Ok I have finished reading Crime and Punishment and I am somewhat perplexed about it being hailed as a piece of great writing. Some of the chapters were actually good and interesting but invariably they were the ones focused on everybody *but* the main guy.

Nobody else wants to read the Kalevala in the original Finnish for some reason so my library loan keeps auto renewing and I keep putting off taking it back. The librarian is definitely gonna think I can read Finnish now (the librarian has not thought about me even once this whole time)
I put in a hold request on what I thought was a penguin classics edition of the epic poem Kalevala, went to pick it up at the library today and it turns out to be in Finnish (& not a penguin publication)
I am for some reason mildly embarrassed to think the librarian assumed I can read Finnish

I took a two week break from my adhd meds (on doctor’s advice) and I took the first one in two weeks today and I am READY to do SOMETHING
Unfortunately I FORGOT to have ANY PLAN for what it was I was going to DO
So my brain is like “ok let’s go!!! Idk where we’re going but let’s gooOOOOO”

Oh I also have quibbles with how there can be page after page of dialogue with next to no indication of who is speaking!! There are three people in this scene and ostensibly two of them are speaking to each other but I don’t trust Dostoevsky to be clear about if the third one ever decided to jump in

I have a skeleton in a lawn chair to hand out trick or treat candy because we have such an inconsistent and hard to predict flow of kids from year to year and it’s too cold to sit outside. I hadn’t put the bowl out yet when I could hear kids approaching so I hurriedly stepped out to set it up
