Just received The Library of Lost Maps, by James Cheshire... The book is lovely--fascinating maps and their stories, illustrated and bound beautifully. I'm smitten! 📖🫶
Some of the maps do require a good magnifying glass to see all of the detail with which they were printed... not that I mind...

Loved reading it when I was a kid (my dad had a subscription for decades) but this issue came out almost 20 years before Dad subscribed. I've never seen it before: D-Day retold as if in a new Bayeux tapestry -- but in reverse... also: OG Antifa lol
