a slightly crazy pretty-far-left liberal, avid reader, would-be writer, who should probably get the hell out of Texas except that it's still almost two years to retirement. Was kicked off Xitter before it was cool.
Please: no DMs
and this was about a year later -- still not full-grown yet... I think she was up to about 90 lbs by then... she's keeping close watch on what was left of her chewy, just in case it needed rescuing from a predatory cat or something lol.

here she is, maybe a month after we adopted her -- just short of a year old... she still wasn't all that sure about being on a leash...

Just found this 1944 New Yorker cover!

Loved reading it when I was a kid (my dad had a subscription for decades) but this issue came out almost 20 years before Dad subscribed. I've never seen it before: D-Day retold as if in a new Bayeux tapestry -- but in reverse... also: OG Antifa lol

The 'stripes' often vary in width within a pattern repeat; the colors merge where they cross, creating new shades/colors. Not sure how I'd paint it, but making those intersections a different shade would help. Found a pic that might show you what I mean... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Th...

This photo of Stevie Ray's statue, standing almost up to his waist in Town Lake, was taken in the fall of 2016. Every time the Colorado floods, he at least gets his feet wet... www.statesman.com/gcdn/authori...

it's hard to muster up any enthusiasm for doing much of anything except maybe reading or napping, when you've got these two curled up next to you:

Nosferatu claims that due process doesn't apply to "foreign trespassers", so there is nothing wrong with sending them to concentration camps in El Salvador. (Not really, but I guess it sounds truthy to anyone who could vote for Shitler.)

My snuggly boys... Lenny, the white one, is usually passed out in my lap, which means that Carl, the gray one, is also often passed out in my lap, and Carl prefers to sleep with his face touching mine. Makes it hard to type now and then... :)

yet another 13th doctor, sweetie!

And Rowan Atkinson as another Who in the same Comic Relief skit was *almost* a tie (just not quite.)

This is just for Elno: the world's tiniest violin playing "My Heart Cries for You". He deserves a LOT more misery than he's getting, just for what he's stealing from the American people--and I'm not just talking about the purloined govt funds.
