Just found this 1944 New Yorker cover!
Loved reading it when I was a kid (my dad had a subscription for decades) but this issue came out almost 20 years before Dad subscribed. I've never seen it before: D-Day retold as if in a new Bayeux tapestry -- but in reverse... also: OG Antifa lol

Just found this 1944 New Yorker cover!

The 'stripes' often vary in width within a pattern repeat; the colors merge where they cross, creating new shades/colors. Not sure how I'd paint it, but making those intersections a different shade would help. Found a pic that might show you what I mean... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Th...

My snuggly boys... Lenny, the white one, is usually passed out in my lap, which means that Carl, the gray one, is also often passed out in my lap, and Carl prefers to sleep with his face touching mine. Makes it hard to type now and then... :)
