I've been playing 5E D&D this year and its been fun but there are times when the rules really butt in and make the game less fun.
a NPC cleric in robes on a ledge overlooking a big pit.
A lizardman fighter PC tries to shove the bad guy off the ledge. its harder to do than attacking. So it fails.
