In my fairly small town, the only options for work are customer service, or the manufacturing position I've worked in the last seven years. I can't afford to move anywhere else, so I keep going where I'm at now.

Government shutdown sucked hard though.

A few doorsteps have jack-o-lanterns, one having a lantern further-right. This far-background is bathed mostly in darkness. There is a small easter-egg hidden within the background. It is bathed in the darkness of the forest, waiting for you. Watching you. Watching you with its loathsome, ancient eyes.

A prolific creator of tools for VRC/Unity, Dreadrith, went on a moral-panic tirade about the "rampant normalization of all things sexually provocative", pulled his GitHub repos, then pulled the DRM killswitch on his projects, disabling them for everyone, even existing users. What an absolute shame.
