Seems like it’s working as intended for the GOP. It’s the recurring pattern, break something then claim it doesn’t work which then justifies removing it. Anything that benefits middle- to low-income Americans have been systematically suffering this fate for decades at the hands of these jokers.

Governor Greg Abbott received $1.5 billion in state funding in 2023 (not 2003 like my post said) to build seven new state-run psychiatric hospitals across Texas. These facilities are primarily for inpatient use, not outpatient care.
