I’m becoming convinced that is what they want. To incite violence by taking increasingly drastic measures which will then allow them to roll out the military and national guard to “keep the peace “

Tonight in “war ravaged” Portland… a frog brigade standing guard outside the ICE facility.

Trump says there’s “nowhere worse than Portland”… and the frogs magically multiply.

They’re showing that he’s not only a liar, but Portland is still safe, still weird and still full of people resisting.

According to federal data, 13 of the top 20 cities in homicide rates have Republican governors. None of those cities are Chicago.

8 of the top 10 states in homicide rates are led by Republicans. None of those states are Illinois.

And yet Trump is sending troops here.

Humor is an awesome tool of resistance. Laughing at your enemy is very potent. They react blindly and lose control of their anger and expose more of their hypocrisy. We used to make parody songs and sing them at board of supes meetings, rallies, at their houses. Very effective.

I think a big part is highlighting the double standard. A reporter asked him about it the other day and he threw it back at them for not asking that same question of Trump.

I just held a rally in Plano, TX — a red part of the state — and 1,000 people showed up.

Many said it was their first political rally ever.

There’s something happening in Texas…

Jokes on them, I’m going to use AI to come up with 8000 businesses for dipshits
Why? Who is this meant to be good for? Nobody wants your shit AI books, never mind 8,000 in a year. Just a terrible idea and a horrible road the publishing industry is heading down.

“That’s what ‘The Bear’ is really about: How do we live together when someone always seems to be going too far? The answer we ultimately get is that we can’t. We can’t sustain a community when the pain grows too great,” our columnist David French writes.

No. Never.

I review 20+ of papers a year—it's my job as a scientist. The public pays my salary and trust me to use my time wisely to advance science. Through peer review, I do exactly that. I spend two or three weeks a year reviewing, but I’ve never wasted a day reviewing a paper, and never will.
