Did some experimenting with GameMaker, and I figured out how to make a world map with unlockable "levels."

My vision of #BlueStarGame progression is a little closer to Super Mario World than it is to Metroid. But before I can run, I need to know how to walk. Here's me walking.

A few more assets made, some more learning done, and a little more prototyping completed later, and I now have a short demo level to demonstrate the kind of platformer I envision #BlueStarGame becoming. Or, at least, some of what I envision.

But I'll celebrate my #gamedev progress nonetheless.

Since last time I've mentioned #BlueStarGame, I've made better standing and walking animations for Lily.

And recently, I've also prototyped what's going to be the primary method of attack: Amsonia's vine whip.

It's not everything I want it to be just yet, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
