Why was 6 afraid of 7?

It wasn't. 6 was just sick of being one half of this generation's stupidest joke.

My Mom used to tell me after I ate pizza that I looked like I ate a cat.

So, by deduction, that guy just ate a pizza.

The 6-7 joke is so baffling that I had to look it up just to figure it out.

As someone who applied phonics to learn Hiragana (and continues to apply phonics in learning Katakana), I can say from experience that the phonic method *works.*

On numerous occasions, I've seen a loan word written in Katakana. If it's a word in my vocabulary, I recognize it once I sound it out.
