@ulrichartorius.bsky.social
When someone asks, "what would Jesus do?" it's important to remember that flipping tables and calling out the elites for their cruelty, hypocrisy, and tyranny is a valid answer.
Depression and other "invisible" disabilities and burdens are so heavy to bear. There is nothing remotely Christlike in dismissing them so quickly and callously.

Why, when so many other developed nations have figured this and other issues out, (I see you, Finland!) does the US insist on doing it as poorly as possible?

The cruelty is the point and it's heartbreaking.

Absolutely abhorrent.

Each talk was so beautiful and comforting.

@utahgop.bsky.social unto the least of these, remember? Or maybe: Helaman 4:12, Helaman 3:33-34, or Mosiah 4.

Shame on those who refuse to help the poor and needy. Shame on those who care more for their own power than those who are in need of compassion.

Few things are more Anti-Christ than treating the vulnerable with disdain and without compassion and understanding.

"And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me."

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." Matthew 19:23-24

Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, & did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

I know I said a bit ago I was working on getting a blog setup. That's still in process, I apologize.

I post on Facebook for a wider reach to the people who really need to hear truth.

It's maddening. The last few days I have seen friends and family - the ones I thought actually understood scripture - fall into the exact same spiritual traps Jesus warned against. 😭😭😭

Be weary of anyone who speaks against empathy, for Jesus has already set the example. Wherefore can ye doubt?

that ye may become the sons [and daughters] of God; that when he shall appear we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be purified even as he is pure."

Seeking to destroy empathy puts us on the path to destroy ourselves.
