raising of the golden dead working pretty well now, these are all existing units that previously died, so the history of the game kind of gets recited through reanimation, the tall ones are a bunch of giant obars and the big slouching ones are a defeated group of icedrakes

day 2 of implementing this dead-raising system, now for the more familiar Achra god Dumuzi, mentioning the previous unit type in the description and then going to implement some sprite variants based on vague unit classes like human, serpent, monster

This clearly shouldn't be my first response, but I just find myself so remarkably annoyed not by the fact that my field is being co-opted by the worst people, but that it is being co-opted by the dumbest people, just the thickest, most arrogantly superficial 'trousered apes' imaginable.

ok got the basic dead-raising where it finds a named unit from all the dead units and restores it as the new type, can make this for other sects now like dumuzi's golden dead etc

doing all the initial wall tiles, I think for a lot of them verisimilitude can be abandoned for something more glyph-like
