At @ukceh.bsky.social our AMR researchers work on both #bacterial and #fungal AMR!

We undertake research monitoring AMR in many different environments (water 🌊, wastewater 💩, air 💨, soil 🌱 & plants 🌿), which means we get out in the field a lot!

Over the summer, @amycthorpe.bsky.social presented at @sedadnasociety.bsky.social in Tromsø, Norway. Amy presented her research using lake sedimentary #DNA to reconstruct historical #microbial dynamics in the Lake District in response to nutrient status 🦠🧬🌊

In October, @brionyjones.bsky.social presented at the European Commission's Joint Research Council in Ispra for a AI4SoilHealth meeting earlier in the month. The presentation title was 'Global F.A.I.R.ness of co-located microbial and soil health data in public genomic repositories.' 🌱🦠🧬
