Just for the record, I was born in 1982 making me Gen Y, AKA Gen, "Why are you lumping me in with these millennials?"
I hadn't been out there since my son was born 14 years ago.
I've only gone twice over the past month, but you can feel that the fear and general anxiety (vis the violent settlers) are both greater and more widespread than in the past.
Those I trust also say it's esp. bad this year (due to Gaza etc).

There are extreme-right ministers (about the likes of whom I wrote my MA thesis) who'd like a transfer of all Arabs from Israel/Palestine. There are also many Palestinians who would, ideally, like the same for the Jews. But I never thought that their wish was genocidal.

1. The current offensive in #Gaza City is needless, tragic and horrific. Given his well-publicised objections to it, I think the Israeli Chief of Staff would probably agree.
2. The War in Afghanistan after 9/11 killed some 400,000 people. War is bad. This war is no different.

Whatever Hamas's guilt we know that, at least as of April Bibi was blocking it for his own survival. We'll be out on the streets of Tel-Aviv again on Thursday. About 75% of the public and the generals are with us. 🎗️

When Hamas started hijacking aid for profit/power we should have flooded Gaza with food.
The Knesset session ends on Sunday and it'll be far harder to remove Bibi. Hamas have had this time to try to communicate and reach a unified position.
Hopefully next week there'll be a ceasefire. 🎗️

When Hamas started hijacking aid for profit/power we should have flooded Gaza with food.
The Knesset session ends on Sunday and it'll be far harder to remove Bibi. Hamas have had this time to try to communicate and reach a unified position.
