I hadn't been out there since my son was born 14 years ago.
I've only gone twice over the past month, but you can feel that the fear and general anxiety (vis the violent settlers) are both greater and more widespread than in the past.
Those I trust also say it's esp. bad this year (due to Gaza etc).

As a veteran peacenik leftie Zionist Israeli (volunteered in the West Bank, campaigned for peace/against the Occupation), when times get dark—too often since Rabin was assassinated thirty years ago—all I have to do is write something political online and this kind of response renews my Zionism. 🎗️

1. Israel sells more arms to the UK than visa versa;
2. Bibi is dragging his feet but Hamas are as well, while also attacking, confiscating and profiteering from aid which enters the Strip.
The priority should be a relentless focus on flooding Gaza with aid.

Over 80 murders in Arab communities since the start of the year. Yesterday an eight-year-old Bedouin kid was killed. He'd been the target: another revenge killing.
The murderers wander around freely. The police do nothing. Arab politicians who refuse to give contracts to gangsters have bodyguards.
