From the very same Tumblr you’ve probably never heard of. Did not post in Twitter because shit was a cesspool. My ass only used Twitter to follow journalists. Art courtesy of Nikolas Draper Ivey.

And your big main event(s) is a combined 3 minutes? You gave that crowd nothing for two hours. Nothing but Top Dolla and his groupie twerking as he strangles some black dude. I complain about AEW’s little flaws but shit like this makes me take them for granted.

I..I don’t have words. This card is giving me hives. This is atrocious. You have Cedric Alexander in a 3 minute squash? Why? Cedric is a workhorse, and is made for long drawn out matches. Dani Luna can’t even get a finish on hers. But let’s give Kehlani Jordan the longest match of the night?

If AEW just gives me the rest of 2024 Dynamite/Collision/Rampage on Max tho…

And after your first show after a month of no events, you drop the title in under a minute? YEARS, my brother. WOW, Santana.

So you blow up Pride & Powerful and go to TNA and the indies. You grind on the indies. You build your name as this singles star. You have some good to decent matches. And you finally win the TNA championship under the falsehood that TNA is bigger than AEW.

Why wouldn’t a black man want to be friends with a guy cosplaying as a Hell’s Angel Neo-Nazi? Nope, nothing strange about the fascination of skulls, and other Nazi iconography Triple K presented for decades? Nope.

It was after Tony also ‘fumbling’ MJF(MJF fumbled MJF imo) and Hangman was again used to recorrect MJF, but that program along with Chris Daniels was more successful than anyone thought possible. Ask @aaron.wrotkowski.ca and @sarahgraps.bsky.social about it because they both talked at length on it.

He was directionless. At the end of 2024, Hangman was just a guy who put his whole heart in his character and Tony just used him in the lower card to be that menacing heel for months after All Out. Hangman wasn’t elevated. He was put on ice.
November 13, 2025 at 2:14 PM
I was limited by characters and couldn’t elaborate on it but I meant that Hangman’s heel run was presented as him becoming this monster heel, but he was losing every single match. He lost to Jay White twice, Danielson, Darby Allin. Tony didn’t commit to Page being a heel and fans refused to buy it.

I am aware that I sound like a fanboy but that man carried AEW in 2024 and I want fans to realize that. While he didn’t restore the feeling, he was instrumental in laying the foundations for it.

Ospreay was instrumental in turning 2024 from being a catastrophic year to just being a down year. MJF was out most of the year, Omega was down, and Hangman was saddled with an unwanted heel gimmick. Mox was in his Josh Barnett era, and the Young Bucks and Jack Perry were wrestling bad on purpose.
November 13, 2025 at 1:27 PM
It started with the signing of Will Ospreay. The moment he officially became part of roster after two years of working with AEW, he and Swerve worked their asses off. Ospreay was the pen Tony used to write AEW 2023’s wrongs. Ospreay single’s matches alone totaled him at 19 hrs total match time.

No Cody Rhodes bullshit. No CM Punk in Tony’s ear fucking everything up. No MJF doing the most drawn out promo segments and simply squeezing them into a quarter at most. The only thing stopping AEW now is a perception issue due to its weak marketing.

He was trained by Cody Rhodes, QT Marshall at the Nightmare Factory and before that he was trained by WWE alumni Brian Myers at Create-a-Pro.

And AEW is not exempt from robotic Fed trained wrestlers. The most prominent one in the AEW is Hook due to the Nightmare Factory basically being foundationally WWE styled. You’ll see it in Brooke Havoc and Big Shotty Lee too.
