I find Zelda-style overworlds -- even ones early in development -- very satisfying to see come together, especially with wonderful pixel art. I wonder how much more this will change before release... There are already so many differences between the demo & playtest versions.

Messing around with enemies/props processing some code every few frames rather than every frame, for optimization reasons. Ended up with this interesting bug, where all enemy actions basically take ages to run thru, but the player can move as normal!

I'm going to plug this game here too. This is a fantastic Metroid style game. If you're wanting something like NES Metroid where the action is harder and faster paced, I cannot recommend this enough. I got three bosses in and knew this game is ultimate.

I'm going to plug this game here too. This is a fantastic Metroid style game. If you're wanting something like NES Metroid where the action is harder and faster paced, I cannot recommend this enough. I got three bosses in and knew this game is ultimate.
