Am also on an NHS “diabetes prevention” programme. Have never been so focussed or dedicated so much time and effort on just trying to function “normally”. Lucky to have the spare time and capacity to do this at moment. Goal is to be around as long as possible for my children.
Am doing a “CBT for Insomnia” course which I hope is going to help me with a problem I’ve had since my teens. Interesting to learn about probable causes, and this particular approach to treating it. I had my doubts but the reasoning makes “sense” to me. Am in the “gets worse before get better” phase

GLP-1 agonists, like Ozempic and Mounjaro (Wegovy and Zepbound for weight loss), were based on research on the Gila Monster, a reptile whose venom produced sustained insulin release which balanced glucose levels. Further research produced the diabetes and weight loss drugs used widely now.
Exendin-4: From lizard to laboratory...and beyond
A component of the Gila monster’s venom—a peptide known as exendin-4—is being explored for new treatments for Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, and other diseases.

🚑 We're now in open enrollment and I just got asked what we should take into consideration given the new administration as we sign up. I said this round is (probably) too soon for them to change it. But, am I missing anything? What do you think/know? Plz share. #ACA #HealthInsurance

Starter packs are great but worth considering making hyper-specific packs into Feeds! That way people can, for example, follow regular updates specifically from everyone that works at your publication. I’m less likely to follow a gazillion starter pack people then I am to simply follow one feed!
