Researching digital interventions for psychological distress in people living with MS
There’s no holiday from type 1 diabetes (T1D). The constant management can take a real toll on mental health.

We have been looking at how to best detect and support mental health difficulties in people living with T1D.

I wrote a blog post that breaks it down in an easy read 📝
Type 1 diabetes is often called a 24/7 condition – it demands constant management

Our researchers are investigating how people with type 1 diabetes experience mental health difficulties, which ones, and their severity. Read @jenibaykoca.bsky.social on new findings:

Can we study mental health in people with type 1 diabetes at scale? 🧠📊

We tested it and it’s doable.

Read our new paper in @springernature.com Pilot and Feasibility Studies on what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next!

1️⃣ NEW *open access* measure alert 🧵 We’ve just published the Illness-Related Distress (IRD) Scale in Psychological Medicine doi.org/10.1017/S003... It's a 14-item, trans-diagnostic PRO for distress related to living with any long-term physical condition (LTC). But WHY does this matter 🤔 ⬇️
