This summer I've finally been brave enough to start riding my bike around town after eight years here as a car-free pedestrian and bus rider, and it's been absolutely joyful.

I’ve been helping the owner of the local tearoom pack up her shop after twelve years, and it’s been a poignant experience. But I adopted several plants to live on in my apartment, plus a Bai Ya Bing Cha; a white pu-erh cake of a tea we shared earlier.
