*Almost* ready to open the demo to the public (at least on Itch for now, Steam will come later). I even made a web version. This week was a lot of dialogue revisions and bug fixes, but I did sneak in a few new features as well.

Focus this week was on adding little differences between playthroughs. Goal is to make starting over with a new name feel like stepping into an alternate universe where things aren't *quite* how you remember them.

I revised the tutorial section over the weekend, making sure every possible timeline has a simple "first puzzle" to solve, no matter which letters may or may not be in your name.

I *could* learn the software designed specifically for doing the thing I'm trying to do.....Or I could just figure it out in Unity. If you squint, every problem looks like a game, in a way.

So the idea is to de-cozify the farming game genre by making seasons less predictable and always moving (In the actual game, they'll be much slower, and the crops will die)

Lots of miscellaneous updates this week:
- Snow scene
- Party follow fixes
- Buffs/fixes to J, U and many other letters
- Option to disrespect pottery
- Main story sequences fully functional for ch 1
- Combat improvements
- Letter and quest help added to menus

I'm in that dev phase where I feel like I make a ton of progress, get excited to show it off, and then realize it still *looks* mostly the same.

"The game no longer locks from this long list of weird edge cases" isn't something you can capture in a screenshot.

Today I made some improvements to party following:
- They move faster when farther and slower when closer to try to stay near the ideal follow range.
- They use a nav mesh but are still affected by physics and can be shoved out of the way as needed.
