To better prepare for this violent insurrection, Marines and the National Guard are being taught how to line dance.
This is the spirit of Los Angeles.

This is California.

Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Even when there are many birds chirping, I love the way it highlights each bird *as it is chirping* so you can identify which bird is which.

I see lots of pics a beautiful birds on here and thank you for them.

For those of you who are interested in birds, I recommend the free “Merlin Bird ID” app. A friend introduced me to it and it is wonderful. It uses your phone’s mic to identify bird calls near you and teaches you about each bird.

Donald has gotten so used to MAGA unblinkingly devouring his outlandish lies through an IV, that he has gotten absolutely shameless in making things up. To those outside that cult and aware of reality, it is really cringy.

George Floyd was murdered on this day five years ago.

Despite massive protests over racial injustice, police killings are sadly on the rise.

Instead of pouring more funds into our brutal system of policing, let's invest in communities. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/24/u...

I remember going to D.C. to see the memorial after it was constructed. I found two of my classmates listed. When I got home I saw the younger brother of one of those listed and mentioned that I found his brother's name. Trump was raised to be a piece of shit, and became one. Mission Accomplished!
In 1982, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial was dedicated in Washington, D.C., inscribed with the names of 57,939 members of the U.S. armed forces who had died or were missing as a result of the war. Over the following years, additions to the list have brought the total past 58,200.

So what's next after today's May Day mobilizations?

On June 14, Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday.

But real power isn't staged in DC. It rises up everywhere else. That's why we're planning a nationwide day of action to say No Kings. 🧵

The concentration of wealth in the hands of an elite few isn't just bad for our economy. It's corrosive to our democracy.

When the wealthy and well-connected control our political system, the American people don't have a voice.

The result? Demagoguery and corruption.

As we resist Trump’s tyranny, America gains solidarity.

As we gain solidarity, we feel more courageous.

As we feel courageous and stand up to Trump, we weaken him and his regime.

As we weaken Trump and his regime, we have less to fear.
