I think @heartmachine.bsky.social 's Hyperlight Drifter does a great job by having a pixel art animation, you already kinda know what to expect, before seeing any gameplay 🤷 (they also serve as cutscenes in the game)

Look, I'm just saying that AI better become what all the tech bros say it will. If AI becomes a nothing-burger like NFTs then it's gonna be the funniest "I told you so" of all times

Everyone's so quick to say it either will or it won't and I'm not saying either... I'm just saying it better or lol

I do this so often (well, relating songs to pics not books) that I started making playlists for drawings i start when they're based off music 💀💀

success is measured by how well they stay linked in a few months lol

I really can't get over how we've developed this groundbreaking technology that can help us solve issues we didn't think were really surmountable...

And people use it to make search engines worse, bots more convincing, and art that isn't art at all, and scams more scammy

How tf did we get here

What in the dystopian hell? If you think I'm gonna pay to NOT have to deal with this... I'm just gonna leave???? Privacy shouldn't be a paid upgrade. That's a base right. Not being indexed by big tech should be the NORM

I think if this wants to be done it needs to actually be put in front of their face

As in, developers should be (need to be) hitting the inbox right now with this. Get discussions going within their walls y'know?

Maybe I'm just stoopid though I dunno
Seconded. I think that lowering the "Steam tax" to 15% for the first $20k will cost Valve very little, but have a significant impact on indie developers.
Valve could easily lower their 30% revenue cut for small games and it wouldn't cost them much (Apple and Google do 15%) but Steam doesn't have any strong competition and devs want to be on Steam either way. IMO if indies got slightly more money, there would also be more viable games to compete with.

In addition to account verification issued by Bluesky, we're also introducing Trusted Verifiers. Select independent organizations can verify accounts directly.

"You're Doing Well if You're Annoying Someone" talk reminds us that advocating for accessibility in games takes persistence!

Even when the industry pushes back, knowing we’re in it together—and seeing real change come from being “annoying”—makes it all worth it. Let’s keep pushing forward! 💪

"Andy that is not true"

The sad thing about current politics, is the pride in ignorance of the far right. Here a Republican politician is smirking at a woman trying to explain >actual science & reality< to him. Respected scientists will tell you that sex & gender are continuums. That’s the fact. Intersex people are real.

Advertising isn't intently evil but holy shit do I not want to deal with it. It's what MADE Google such an issue after all.

The "advertisers choose the feeds they appear on" is novel and could even be healthy. But I'm tired of being the product and I'm tired of rugpulls like this.

Folks please remember that pretty much every attempt to "make it easy" is just "dumb it down" in disguise

Complacency is big techs strongest tool. Learn new things! Embrace the growing pains!

(this is in addition to the qrt, not in opposition)
I dont use win11 and holy f no wonder young people today are becoming tech illiterate the whole thing is feels like a webapp running onedrive now

I hate modern software everything feels like an "app"
