I think @heartmachine.bsky.social 's Hyperlight Drifter does a great job by having a pixel art animation, you already kinda know what to expect, before seeing any gameplay 🤷 (they also serve as cutscenes in the game)

Yeah exactly! A lot of this stuff is more about figuring out what you want for your exact situation so you end up picking stuff up pretty dang fast too

What usually works for me is working with the ADHD rather than against it-- tutorials can be really unfulfilling for me so I just say screw it and start making stuff and then I'll consult a tut when I get stuck :D
