I think a three-letter monogram looks a little better if it's more modern, but I really wanted to keep the look very 1920s where it was reasonable to do so, and this feels kind of "Turn Ahead The Clock"

For some reason, I can't send the first one without sending a second one. Buggy Bluesky glitch I guess. I had some other ideas, too, like a road jersey that says "America" instead, or a design that uses an A on the front instead.

I like the idea of patterning the design off of the oldest-school of MLB logos, so NYY, STL kind of interlocking letters, and I liked there being a difference between the cap and jersey logo like DET had for a long time.
