Living the dream, and dreaming to live. Queer trekking from a disinherited American.

This story is a fine example of why we never give up, or give in. It's too important. Our children, and their children, are depending on us.
Let's be Karen.

Don't forget that this whole schtick is built on the base of eugenics.

The GOP does not want people to vote, they are doing everything they can to nullify the voices of voters. These are nonpartisan groups, why the fear of voters using their power?
An Aug. 29 policy statement from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the federal agency, will from now on bar nonpartisan groups such as the League of Women Voters from offering voter registration services at the end of naturalization ceremonies. /1

If you aren't tracking the heavy lifting these Senators are doing right now - you're missing out. This is fighting for Democracy and the American people.
Senator Booker is a hero! He’s shouting out and raising high the voices of those who’ve been knocked down by this crisis and making it clear that the moment is anything but normal. We can’t accept this—we have to fight back! Thank you Senator @booker.senate.gov for helping lead the fight!!!
I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

The House Rules Committee held a hearing yesterday on the SAVE Act - the voter disenfranchisement bill which would impact millions of voters if passed. House Ds submitted amendments to the bill & showed what supporting voting looks like.

Rep Chris Deluzio (PA) @deluzio.house.gov - thank you!!

Something is shifting. They are still breaking things and stealing things. And they will keep trying to break and to steal. But the propaganda magic around the oligarchical coup is fading. (1/2)

This is quite significant in many ways: the overt thuggery, Trump’s barely suppressed fury at being contradicted by a woman, the governor’s standing up, the total abandonment of the pretense of federalism, the continuing use of trans Americans the way Hitler used Jews.
TRUMP: The NCAA has complied immediately. That's good. But I understand Maine -- is the governor of Maine here?

JANET MILLS: Yeah I'm here

TRUMP: Are you not gonna comply?

JM: I'm going to comply with state and federal law

T: You better do it bc you're not gonna get any federal funding at all

I mean, come on.
Ain't good. Compared to Senate Dems, House Dems have less leverage. One exception is the budget fight. But here's the Dem House Leader TODAY declining to use that leverage.

If you have a Dem rep, ask them to use their leverage. And tell them to tell Jeffries to lead.

Stay tuned - more to come.

At OPM, Musk’s staffers won’t leave—they work around the clock and have even installed sofa beds in the office. Our access to data systems has been restricted, raising serious concerns about cybersecurity and a complete lack of oversight. We are keeping our heads down and documenting everything.

An unelected Trillionaire is pulling the strings of our national governing party. I hope we all understand that every action he takes is designed for his own benefit; to consolidate his power and add zeros to his net worth.

Get ready Americans, Musk & Trump will tell you what's good for you.

This is a SLAPP suit, designed to silence by simply threatening legal action. It's a tired, overused tactic. I've been threatened similarly twice, once by an elected official. But the idea of opening themselves up to discovery prevents any further action.
Today, #KashPatel sent a letter to my counsel @markzaidesq.bsky.social threatening to sue & demanding I retract my MSNBC comments on his unfitness to serve as FBI Director. This follows his threats against media & political opponents, showing how he might act if confirmed. I stand by my statements.
