What homophobic/transphobic/bigoted remarks has he made? I'm told they're posted or discussed by other users on Insta, TikTok, and Twitter, but I can't access them since I don't have accounts. I'm asking in good faith, not to start any arguments. TIA.

Agreed. IMO it helps that horror accesses the subconscious on a deeper (and maybe greater?) level than a lot of other genres. Everyone gets scared, and fear overwhelms a person very quickly, even if there's no logical reason for that fear (see also: anxiety).

Thank you - it actually stemmed from something my fiancé yelled whilst we were watching another Dolph Lundgren film, and we just apply that to Lundgren and anyone who's 6'5" or taller.

A friend of mine saw it and all he had to say about it was "Edgar Wright has lost his identity". Fiancé and I are seeing it on Saturday per our tradition of going to see Stephen King adaps together (fiancé tends to know the source material back to front and upside down, I do not).
