2. Oh, you did the digging. Whatever you found, put it back.
3. There is no kitchen cat.
4. But it's probably best to avoid stairs. And cats.
5. Also avoid wells, because they are bad news

I just finished this wonderful book by @kjcharleswriter. It's amazing.
The sense of time and place (Oxford and London mostly, 1895 and 1905) is exquisite. The diverse characters leap off the page. Mystery, murder, love, friendship, betrayal, this one has it all.
