Fun fact. In the movie The Return, Odysseus is wrecked and washed ashore on Ithaca. That blurs his arrival on Ithaca into his arrival on Scheria. Now, the Ithacan shore scene in the movie is shot on Rovinia Beach, Corfu — which Corfiot lore identifies as his 'real' landing point on Scheria.
