There is a moment at what feels like the half way point of Sinners that is unbearably lovely and reminds me more than a little of the school gym sequence in the recent West Side Story. Immaculate visual storytelling.

My kid spent all of our nightly reading time reading to me for the first time ever today and, uh, sure wasn’t expecting to digest that milestone on some random unassuming Tuesday night.

The other Robert Brandin was my grandpa. My best friend (who was stationed half a world away) sent me an email with his (my grandpa’s) obituary in college joking “lol ur dead” to which I got to respond with the most gloriously awkward email saying no, the guy I’m related to/named after is dead.
The other Star St.Germain got married and already had a different name before I even learned of her existence. There can be only one.
Other Brandon Seifert works in the space industry and went to school in Colorado. I get emails meant for him; he gets tweets meant for me. He’s a cool guy! We follow each other, and when I saw the brandonseifert.space domain was open, I clued him in and he snapped it up. :)
