A creamy white beach stone with a natural speckled pattern that gives it surprising depth, and so nicely shaped by the ocean (thank you ocean!).

This shell was such a fun find - it was practically asking to be a necklace. It makes a lovely horizontal bar style but with a curvy edge. The shape of the shell is entirely nature-made!

This shell is so perfectly shaped to be a pendant, thanks to the forces of the ocean.
I've had the shell for a while, waiting for the right way to show it off, and it all came together with these bronzey beads that complement the shell.

These lovely limpet shells have, by forces of nature, become really cool natural frames to hold beads in watery shades of blue representing the beautiful colors of the sea where these shells came from. Perfect for keeping the ocean vibes close 💙

A first look at a batch of beach stones that finished tumbling! These were all found on my beachwalks, hand-picked for what they would (hopefully) look like when tumbled to a polish, which takes months. So fun to get that first look at them as they come out of the barrel!

This is absolutely delightful!

(Also, buy one of Sarah's advent calendars!)
I wanted to get a video of this ghost crab but every time I got close to their hole they scuttled back in, so I tried getting clever with it. I made a little sandcastle and shoved my phone into it, hit record, and walked away. Crab was VERY suspicious of this addition to their environment.

Like people who are really into art know they probably won't become rich. They want to make art. Their art. In their way. That's what they are trying to develop. Of course they don't want to use the "make everything beige" machine

Pacific Mammal Research is holding a silent auction to raise funds to support research studying harbor porpoise and harbor seals in the Salish Sea. Help them conserve and protect marine mammal populations & their ecosystem. These beauties could be yours!

I like finding tarnished, dusty jewelry at thrift shops and repurposing the beads into something new that I can wear. Finished these two bracelets this week 😊

Just finished a new seashell window charm, getting it ready to send to its new home. May it brighten the window where it hangs and remind of salty breezes 😊
