This shell was such a fun find - it was practically asking to be a necklace. It makes a lovely horizontal bar style but with a curvy edge. The shape of the shell is entirely nature-made!

This shell is so perfectly shaped to be a pendant, thanks to the forces of the ocean.
I've had the shell for a while, waiting for the right way to show it off, and it all came together with these bronzey beads that complement the shell.

A small oval beach stone that is dark burgundy in color hangs on a necklace made of small glass beads in shades of deep burgundies, blues, and teals. Five dangly earrings hang from a thin twig. The earrings are shaped like jellyfish, with a large glass bead at the top and smaller glass beads hanging below in colors of blue, green, yellow, and purple. A purse charm made with a large limpet seashell and a variety of beads hanging from a silver chain around the strap of a handbag. Three different window charms made from shells and sea glass, found on a beach in Port Townsend WA, are hanging side by side. A work in progress this week - inspired by the beautiful colors inside this shell.

A first look at a batch of beach stones that finished tumbling! These were all found on my beachwalks, hand-picked for what they would (hopefully) look like when tumbled to a polish, which takes months. So fun to get that first look at them as they come out of the barrel!

This is a typical beach walk where the beach is covered in so many stones. When I find a special beach stone for a pendant, it is like a needle in a haystack! On this walk I found a few stones that will probably go in the tumbler, but none that are necklace-worthy. Maybe next time!

Formed by nature, this one-of-a-kind seashell is a shell fragment that’s been softened on the edges into this lovely curvy shape by its time in the ocean. I carefully transformed it into a special necklace for simple, everyday style.
