So, to answer the original question: our fashion judgements are shaped by the semiotics of dress, which are in turn shaped by cultural history. This history casts a long shadow, but contemporary dress can change depending on how cool people dress.

Well, no, and they're closing only a speculated 300 of about 5000, but your own speculation jumps to conclusions. They did mention obsolete locations, that would affect margin, surely, but they could also be closing very profitable locations that will require big cap to keep. Your comment was crass.

Will court decisions hold them in check? Will new elections in 2026 and 2028 offer a solution? I certainly hope so, on both counts. But it's not unthinkable anymore that they won't, and that is worth thinking about very seriously.
