I don't post about my health often, so pardon the topic shift, but feeling kinda proud atm.
Doctor helped me see something was likely
hindering my weight loss efforts: previously undiagnosed hypothyroidism.
But through consistent diet change, exercise & thyroid meds, I'm now down almost 30 pounds.

Happy birthday to the Nintendo Gamecube!
It's been nice to see so much love for this console and its games in recent years.
I saved up my money for a long time to get one as a kid! Along with Luigi's Mansion, of course, a game I had already memorized because I liked the pictures in the guidebook.

Turned out to be a good call lol. Loving Letter Quest so far.
The simple but effective "word battle RPG" gameplay loop is something I'm finding low-key addictive and... I guess kinda soothing in a way?
Perfect "turn the brain noise down & just unwind for a bit" kind of game.

For me personally, it's a neck-&-neck, basically unbreakable tie between Grant Kirkhope & Yoko Shimomura. Can't choose just one.
They're both geniuses & their compositions have followed me the vast majority of my gaming life.
